East Riding Senior Cup - 2nd Round

North Ferriby FC are in action this Tuesday as they host Hornsea Town in the East Riding Senior Cup.

The Villagers will be hoping to improve on their performance in last year’s competition, Bolder’s side were eliminated by Hall Road in the second round. Ferriby will be looking to better their 2019-20 progress when they reached the final. Due to the Covid pandemic the competition was postponed. 

The Villagers will be hoping to bounce back from Saturday’s heavy 5-0 defeat against Ashington. Bolder’s side saw their northeast opponents run away with the game with all five goals coming in the second half. 

Hornsea currently play in the Humber Premier League and are currently sat in third place. Hornsea warmed up for the clash with a 1-0 win over Reckitts on Saturday. One name that will be familiar for the Villagers faithful is Ben Leyland. The full back played 62 games for the club in the period between 2019 and 2022.
