Preview Report:

North Ferriby VS Dunston

North Ferriby FC host fellow play off chasing Dunston UTS on Saturday afternoon. The Villagers head into the fixture in good form. Chris Bolder’s side have only been defeated once in their last six, that coming against league leaders Stockton. The current run of form as propelled the Villagers into fourth place, and they currently sit top of the league table. Last Saturday, the Villagers made it back-to-back wins with a 4-2 victory at Grantham Town. Goals from Dom Roma, Levi Tarbotton, Tom Corner and Josh Whiteley securing the three points. Chris Bolder spoke about his side’s victory at Grantham, “it was pleasing to get a result, we weren’t at our best by any stretch of the imagination. We’ve been on a good run and perhaps looked like we didn’t have a lot left in the tank. Full credit to the lads, if you’re not going to perform to the best of your ability, it’s all about getting that result”.

Like the Villagers, Dunston find themselves well and truly in the play off picture. The North East outfit currently sit in third place. Wednesday night’s fixture against Sheffield was postponed. They defeated Pontefract 2-0 last Saturday. The two sides met earlier in the season. In an entertaining game, the Villagers came away 3-2 winners. Danny East, Harry Wallis and Josh Dennett scoring the three goals.
