Preview Report:
Pocklington Town VS
North Ferriby
EAST RIDING SENIOR CUP - Semi -Final
North Ferriby FC are in East Riding Cup action on Tuesday night as they face Pocklington Town. The game will be played at the Roy West Centre, home of the East Riding FA. The Villagers have overcome Hornsea Town and Driffield to reach this stage. The Villagers will be looking to get back to winning ways after not doing so in their last two. On Saturday, the Villagers played out a 0-0 draw in West Yorkshire at Liversedge. Chris Bolder spoke about the game, “if we’re honest it was a really poor game of football. I said to the lads that if you’re going to put in a performance like that and come out of it with a point and a clean sheet, you have to take the positives. However, from a performance point of view we weren’t great today.
Pocklington currently sit in fourth place of the Humber Premier League. They defeated South Cave to reach the semi final. Bolder previewed the match up, “we’ve got some really sore bodies and a couple of knocks. We’ve also got the lads who are cup tied to take into account”.
The winner of the game will face either Bridlington Town or Sculcoates in the final.
