Emley FC VS North Ferriby

It’s Northern Premier League East Division time once again as Chris Bolder’s North Ferriby FC return to the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground and visit Emley AFC.

The villagers return to the road sees them begin the first of two league fixtures this coming week as they look to continue their fine form of late. Heading into a busy month, there are some big games ahead for Chris Bolder’s men.

Hailing from the West Yorkshire, Emley host East Yorkshire’s North Ferriby following a goalless draw with Pontefract Collieries. Saturday’s meeting is the first between the two since meeting in the Northern Counties East and it’s all to play for with both vying for a top five finish.

TEAM NEWS

In terms of selection, Tom Corner’s return to the side remains on a knife edge for Saturday’s league fixture after his early departure against Belper. Elsewhere, Louis Kirk’s full return may have been set back following his forced departure in Saturday’s league draw against Consett AFC.

Joel Shortland nears full fitness after playing a further 50+ minutes in Saturday’s league fixture, yet may be another week or so away from a full return. Danny Emerton, Danny East and Oli Donald all continue in the recovery phase.
